3 months after turning 9 years old, London Houghton wrote her first screenplay (Breaking Plans) at the end of 2022. She went on to cast, star in and co-direct the film in June of 2023. Passionate and extremely curious about story-telling, movies and film-making from a very young age, London began creating and editing her own stop animation films at the age of 5. It wasn't long before she began making making her way onto film sets in order to gain experience and learn more about the art of film-making.
As a humble yet confident person, London has identified and continues to surround herself with positive mentors, while also making sure to enjoy life as a young person with her friends and family. In addition to film-making and writing, London enjoys theater/performing arts, gymnastics and has recently become interested in entrepreneurship, which she is exploring by creating and running her own small businesses. London resides in Seal Beach, California and lives by her motto... 'Kindness is my thing... not just because I 'choose' to be kind, but because I was born with kindness in me. And that will never change, because otherwise I won't be me!" |
