Paul James and Ella Greenwood are invited to Pinewood Studios (London, UK) and talk with the Claire Richardson and the Global Lift-Off team about new projects, the film industry, careers, 'From Under The Bridge' and winning 'Best Short Film' and more...
Dreamotion Studios kicked off the new feature film development in London, England with co-producer Broken Flames Productions (Ella Greenwood and Maya Bartley O'Dea). 12 actor groups (female and male) read the 2 sets of screenplay sides provided by writer/director, Paul James Houghton. Capturing test reads allow the producers to review talent, while confirming script dialogue, emotions, flow and other essential early development aspects. This is just one example of the many excellent reads (performed by Cian Lorcan and Archie Griffiths).
The Dreamotion Studios team (including a cinematographer) return to London, England on January 25th, 2022 to reunite with Broken Flames and continue with development. 'From Under The Bridge: When Bullies Become Trolls' officially awarded 'Best Film' at the London Lift-Off Film Festival and will screen in London, England in 2022.
'From Under The Bridge: When Bullies Become Trolls' is the #1 film at the London Lift-Off Film Festival. Voting closed with 82 votes (42% of the total vote and double the 2nd place film).
'From Under The Bridge' made front page news once again this week (forth time overall) via an emotional and exceptionally well-written article by David Young . David interviewed Tina Meier (mother of the film's inspiration - Megan Meier), who had flown in to Los Angeles to view the completed film for the first time (screened at the Awareness Film Festival - Regal Cinema LA Live). Tina also met with members of the cast and crew, before visiting filming locations in Seal Beach with Paul, Connie and Piper. The article also covers the film's Grand Jury win for 'Best Short Film' (achieved at the Awareness Film Festival) and mentions the associated Grammy nomination. Tina Meier, mother of 'From Under The Bridge' inspiration - Megan Meier, flew in to attend the Awareness Film Festival screening at the Regal Cinema LA Live in Los Angeles on October 23rd. A week later, the film won the Grand Jury Award for 'Best Short Film'. We all adore and admire Tina, who has been a magnificent supporter of the film and friend to members of the cast and crew, so winning the highest possible award for both her and Megan was truly incredible. Tina had not seen the completed film, let alone on the big screen, so we would like to sincerely thank the wonderful team at the Awareness Film Festival for screening the film. And of course, we must also thank the members of the grand jury for the sensational award. We are honored and eternally grateful for the recognition. This one's for Megan.
